Redmond Racing - 2010
Derek Redmond enters his second season of Endurance Superbike Racing, aiming to build on his terrific debut year when the team finished second overall in their class.

In 2010 Redmond Racing aim to go one better and with the support of sponsorship deals the team have even greater confidence in what can be achieved.  There is room for one or two additional sponsors to join the line up of Jaguar, Dunlop, Parliament Communications, Putoline Oil, Lazer Helmets, Adept Pure Water Technologies, Aspire Recruitment, Douglas Building Services and Garnell Nutrition.

Redmond Racing consists of seven riders who will take part in the 1000cc, 3 hour championship.  They will enter two teams at each of the 7 rounds.

There is also some individual racing at each round called Moto Grande. This is an open event that anyone can enter so riders not taking part in the 3 hour race have the option to do this.  Most of them intend to do a couple of these each during the season.

The riders are:
Pete "the builder" Douglas a self employed builder.
Neil "Monkey boy" Garnham, he has a communications business and a vitamin supplement business. Neil used to race power boats.
Drew Tommons, a self employed photographer.
Andy "Ice Man" Dix the "millionaire" of the team! He owns Aggregate Industries, turns up in his own plane and insists that his butler is on hand in the pits.
Wayne "the Preditor" Crossman a fireman.
Keeling "Daddy Mac" Hutton, an accountant!
Derek "The Runner" Redmond.
Redmond Racing have one other rider who will only be doing the Moto Grande but will act as a reserve rider for the endurance racing if needed.  His name is Emason Sobarasua.

There are 7 rounds (dates to be announced).  For more information, or to sponsor the team, please call Derek's office on 01202 242434.
